Robert has enjoyed writing play scripts for many years.

He claims:
"‘Good enough won’t do; it has to be the best I can do.  The thought of other people performing my scripts, and in turn entertaining others, is immeasurably gratifying. For adults, performing scripts is an ultimate escapism: the chance to be a heroine/hero (or the antithesis of this) even if it is only for a few moments."

Robert was born in London and moved to the countryside [Devon]. He received his Masters in Social Studies from the Reading University and worked for international schools. Robert currently lives in central Europe (Slovakia) with his wife and daughter.

Robert about writing: "When I was young I read a Viking saga; and from that moment on, I knew I wanted to write.  I studied a lot, possibly too much, but learned most from observing life surrounded by people from different backgrounds and cultures across the globe." 

Robert about writing: "The best part of being a writer, for me, is to create a performance, the memory of which people will cherish for years, or maybe a lifetime."  

Robert about the role of drama in education: "In terms of children’s educational and social development, plays are of great value, but are often undervalued.  The golden rule for plays for children is that the script must be fun!"
