SHOPPING TERMS

or order performance licenses,

We provide discounts on larger orders.

Delivery Policy *

To reduce customers' post, packing and handling costs, we provide deliveries by email. (The drama prices displayed online always means email as a delivery method.)

When we receive the payment, we dispatch as soon as possible - usually within 24 hours, at the latest  within 3 working days  of receiving a cleared payment. Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays are not considered working days.  If you need the script urgently, please include a note in the "Instructions for merchant" during shopping.

We need to know your email address to provide the delivery. If your email is different from your PayPal registered email, please privide your email in the "Instructions for merchant" during shopping.

You will receive the play script by email from our email address sales@artdramascripts.com. In case your email inbox only accepts emails from your contacts, or your email account is set for automatic spam deletion, or if you are not sure what are the settings of your email account, please add sales@artdramascripts.com to your safe contact list.

In general - please contact us in case you do not receive the script in 48 hours from purchasing.

In case of any problems with the email delivery, we post a message at our message board. We try to make all effort to use appropriate means to contact you and provide the delivery by email or other means. However, if we do not have your active email address or you do not pay the appropriate postage & packing charges within 4 working days from shopping, and we cannot provide the delivery by other means, we refund the paid proceeds in additional 3 working days (i.e 7 working days from shopping).

Buying for a school

You may use your personal PayPal or card to buy the script for a school or other organization.

Preferably, provide the name and address of the school/organization you are buying for
in the "Instructions to merchant" section
when shopping online.

Or, you may email sales@artdramascripts.com 
to request a school/organization INVOICE/RECEIPT.  
Please make sure you provide enough details for us
to match your request with your purchase (preferably send the email from your PayPal registered email address).

Payment

Secure transactions:  We accept payments via PayPal (PayPal balances, credit cards, debit cards, bank balances) in all PayPal supported currencies. See PayPal for list of accepted credit/debit cards and other PayPal supported payment methods in your country.

Performance Rights

Purchased script copy will be provided for a school or other buyer for the purpose of preparing a (classroom/school/ club) performance made to paying or non-paying audiences.

The play script may be performed publicly in whole or in part up to 3 (three) times within 4 (four) years from the purchase of the script copy.

Public reading - readers' theatre - is considered a public performance too.

Public workshop (e.g. at summer camps) is considered a public performance in case the play is performed by workshop attendees in front of the people not attending the workshop (spectators).

Additional performances and touring

In general, if you wish to tour with the play or perform the play publicly more than 3 times, you need to contact us to obtain rights for additional performances.  

We now also allow schools and theatres to purchase multiple items of a play script online to obtain rights for additional performances. E.g. if you plan to perform the play 9 times, you may buy 3 items of that particular play script.  If we have not sent you the play script already, we will send you the script by email as one item. If you are planning 10-12 performances, you need to purchase 4 items. The buyer needs to provide details of the organization that would be performing the play and state number of performances and estimated performance dates in a message to the seller during shopping or by sending an email to sales@artdramascripts.com.

Rights to Copy 

The buyer will be allowed to make up to 35 copies of the script for use within the organization.

No resale or redistribution is permitted.

Changes to the Script

We allow the performer to make minor changes in the script for the initial three licensed performances of the playscript.  That does not constitute the right to adapt the play or create derivative works.

Performance Video or Audio

We allow the performer one video or audio copy of any of the first three licensed performances of the play script.  Permission and/or licenses from us will need to be obtained to upload the video or audio files to the Internet or to distribute, broadcast or stream the video or audio in any way by any means, or allow others to do so, for both profit or non-profit activities.

Inform us prior to loading the performance audio / video to the Internet.*

Suggestions for Music

Some of the music suggested in the play scripts' production notes may be under copyright. Rights to play the suggested music are not included in our play scripts. The buyer will have to obtain all necessary licences or use  royalty-free music.

We do not provide any music files, music CDs or music sheets with our play scripts.

Postage & Packing 

Only for hard copies (A4 size printouts) of scripts or CDs with play scripts by post:
All postal deliveries are sent via 1st class Recorded International AirMail.

To receive scripts by post, the customers need to pay the appropriate postage and packing charges. We do not deliver the scripts by post to countries outside the EU and the European Economic Area. 

Returns Policy

In the unlikely event you decide the play does not suit the needs of your performance group or in case you are not happy with the script in any other way, we provide a full hassle- free money back guarantee. We do not charge any administration costs or any other fees for returns. In such a case, inform us within 14 days of receipt. For posted items, return the item within 14 days of receipt.
